Consumer Electronics Shell
A desensitized project from our Shenzhen factory. Names and figures are altered; the process and outcome reflect how we typically deliver for this kind of application.
The challenge
A consumer-electronics brand needed a show-ready enclosure for a trade-show demo. They wanted one perfect master and 50 identical copies, fast, without investing in injection tooling.
Our solution
We printed a master in clear SLA resin, hand-finished it to a glass-like surface, then built a silicone mold and vacuum-cast 50 polyurethane copies. Each copy kept the master's detail and was lightly painted to match the brand color.
Results
1 master + 50 copies delivered in 9 working days. The client demoed a consistent, premium-looking product family at the show with zero tooling cost.
Why Jinghui — a factory, not a reseller
Because we run SLA, SLS, FDM, CNC and vacuum casting in one Shenzhen workshop, mixed-process jobs like this stay under one quality owner, one schedule and one quote. You get engineered parts, not a marketplace gamble.
Common questions on this type of project
For 20–100+ identical parts, a silicone mold and PU casting beats printing each one: lower unit cost, consistent surface finish, and materials closer to production plastics.
Yes. We hand-paint and plate cast parts in-house, so show and pre-production units can match final product colors.
